Kids still getting hurt riding ATVs despite safety warnings

The UAB Department of Music presents recitals and concerts by students, faculty and guest artists each fall and spring semester, most of them free and open to the public.

For Jehan Perera and Imansha Madhushan, the journey to the UAB began thousands of miles away in Sri Lanka. Today, the two PhD candidates in UAB’s Department of Chemistry are conducting research that could help advance an emerging approach to cancer treatment known as Targeted Alpha Therapy (TAT).

Through Theatre UAB’s established touring program and partnerships with schools across Alabama, “Red Flags” will bring conversations about healthy relationships and prevention directly to students and communities statewide.
