The NCATS ENACT Network, which stands for 'Evolve to Next-Gen ACT' Network, is a platform that allows researchers to query de-identified electronic health record (EHR) data across a consortium of institutions, enabling them to conduct cohort discovery and explore patient populations for clinical studies before finalizing their protocols, essentially facilitating the feasibility assessment of clinical trials by accessing a large pool of patient data from various sites; it is funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) and developed through collaboration with the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) consortium.
