The National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD) currently funds a postdoctoral fellowship and seven predoctoral trainee positions. In the latest round of CDC funding for NCHPAD, the center made it an aim to have a predoc focused on each of the seven chronic conditions.

NCHPAD currently has two predoc positions to be filled. One will focus on research and program in hypertension and the other will focus on research and program in cardiovascular disease. Allyn Abadie

MA, LAT, ATC

Allyn is a predoctoral fellow under Department of Nutrition Sciences. Her main responsibilities are serving as a health coach for the MENTOR program and assisting with participant communication through the NCHPAD Call Center.

Pooja Arora

DPT, MSPT

Pooja is a predoctoral trainee under Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science Program. Her main responsibilities are serving as a health coach for the MENTOR program and literature review and content development in the area of respiratory wellness. 

Julianne Clina

MS

Julianne is a predoctoral trainee under Department of Nutrition Sciences. Her main responsibilities are serving as a health coach for the MENTOR program and implementing the State of Slim Everybody program. 

Christine Ferguson

PhD, RD, LD

Christine is a NCHPAD postdoctoral fellow and also serves as the nutrition research coordinator.

Carla Rigo Lima

MA, PT

Carla is a predoctoral trainee under Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science Program. Her main responsibilities are serving as a health coach for the MENTOR program and literature review and content development. 

Madi Mintz

Madi is a predoc under Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science Program. Her main responsibilities are serving as a health coach for the MENTOR program, assisting in literature review and content development, and helping with delivery of the SUPER HEALTH program. 

Phuong Quach

Phuong is a predoctoral trainee under Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science Program. Her main responsibilities are serving as a health coach for the MENTOR program and implementing a qualitative interview project on examining disability inclusion in the 99 community leaders.
