Training opportunities are available through the Maternal and Child Health Bureau Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders (LEND) training program, the University Center of Excellence on Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), and graduate programs at UAB. The Civitan-Sparks Clinics can provide a unique training opportunity to different basic and clinical disciplines because of the diversity of ages, cultures, and genetic and developmental disorders seen in the clinics.

For more information on the LEND training program visit the UAB LEND site.

Prospective and Current LEND trainees will find more information on the Trainee Site.

In addition to the formal training programs opportunities for individual students to observe may be arranged through clinic, program or discipline directors. For more information call the Civitan-Sparks Clinics at 205-934-5471 or Toll Free 1-800-822-2472.
