Congratulations to our former trainee, Bertha Hidalgo, Ph.D., MPH, who was recently appointed to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s Board of External Experts.

Bertha received her doctoral degree in 2012 via support of the CPCTP training program.  She currently is assistant professor of Epidemiology and also serves as an associate scientist in the Nutrition Obesity Research Center at UAB.
