The Alabama State Board of Education (ALSDE) has approved the UAB educator preparation programs.
The ALSDE has approved the following programs:
- Special Education
- Instructional Leadership
- Secondary English Language Arts
- Social Studies
through June 30, 2025, with the rest of our programs approved through June 30, 2028. Our UABTeach program was approved with innovative status, which is a special honor for the state.
