Internship applications are due on the last day of the week in January, one semester (not including summer) prior to the fall internship; two semesters prior to the spring internship.
Applications for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 were due by January 31, 2013.

Spring 2014 Student Teaching Dates:
1/6: Mandatory Student Teaching Orientation for all *non-hired interns; 9:00am-12:00pm; Lincoln Professional Development Center (901 9th Avenue North)
Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) training for all *non-hired interns; CANCELLED - To be rescheduled
Positive Behavior Support Training for all *non-hired interns; 8:30am-3:30pm; CANCELLED - To be rescheduled
1/13: First day in assigned school for all *non-hired interns
1/14, 1/28, 2/11, 2/25, 3/11, 4/1, 4/15: Internship seminars for ALL elementary interns; 5:00pm-7:30pm; location: CHEM 101
1/21, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/11, 4/1: Internship seminars for ALL secondary interns, including math, sciences, social studies, history, English, Spanich, French, music, and art; 5:00pm-7:30pm; location: HHB 106
1/31/14: Student Teaching Applications for Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 due to EB 232
3/2: First Aid/CPR deadline - copy of cards must be emailed to Ms. Vega
3/6: Beginning of second half of internship (for K-12 certification areas and CTTs)
4/1: Education Career Fair - Mandatory for all *non-hired interns; 9am-2pm; Alys Stephens Center
4/25: Last day of spring 2014 internship
4/28 - 5/2: Make-up days of spring 2014 internship absences
*"NON-HIRED" refers to interns that will not be completing their internship as Alternative Master's full-time hired teachers within their field of certification.
