Viewing a Turnitin AI Writing Report in Canvas

A Canvas assignment with Turnitin plagiarism detection enabled has AI writing detection enabled automatically.
- To view the AI writing report, open SpeedGrader (A) for the assignment.
- Click on the Turnitin similarity score (B).
- The AI writing report can be accessed by clicking on the AI writing score (C) below the settings cog on the right.
- The AI writing report will be shown:
The AI report shows percentages and sections of the paper where AI use has been detected. In this example, the report shows “100% detected as AI,” meaning that the tool has determined that 100% of this text was either AI-generated or paraphrased by AI. Learn more about interpreting the AI report .
