Igniting Data Insights (IDI) is a transformative, campus-wide initiative with one central vision: to empower the UAB community through accessible and reliable data. IDI will address the critical need for trustworthy, accurate, and timely data to support operational and strategic decision-making at every level. By modernizing data governance and infrastructure, IDI aims to break down data silos, minimize barriers to data, enhance transparency, and make data more accessible and meaningful across the university. This initiative goes beyond technology and processes — it's about equipping every member of the UAB community with the tools and insights necessary to thrive in a data-informed environment.
