A Collaborative Network Supporting UAB’s Data Vision
The institutional data community of practice is a network for UAB employees who work with institutional data. Whether you analyze, manage, steward or simply use data in your role, the community exists to make data work easier across campus.
As part of the Igniting Data Insights (IDI) initiative, this group supports UAB’s commitment to providing trustworthy, accurate, and timely information to guide decisions and advance our collective mission. Members meet regularly to discuss challenges, share solutions, and build practical skills through training and open office hours. A virtual community provides ongoing support, resource sharing, and onboarding.
