Noncredit educational offerings are central to the Community Engagement Pillar of UAB’s strategic plan. These courses, workshops, and lectures exemplify UAB’s commitment to building an educated citizenry and workforce. They can also be important tools of community outreach, building strong relationships between the University and the state we serve, raising awareness of academic departments, and keeping UAB top of mind when it comes to higher education institutions in Alabama.
