Yuanfeixue Nan
Yuanfeixue Nan, PhD, MA is a current CFAR Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases. She holds a PhD in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California. She has a robust background in researching social determinants of health by utilizing quantitative and computational research methods, and her academic career has been marked by a dedicated focus on advancing HIV prevention strategies among sexual minorities.
Her mentors are Drs. Sarah MacCarthy and Rena Patel.
Jake Diana
Jake Diana, PhD, MA is a current CFAR Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative. He holds a PhD in Human Movement Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has a strong background in exercise science, cardiovascular physiology, and public health, with research focused on the relationships between physical activity, sedentary behavior, and cardiometabolic health. His work utilizes objective measures of physical activity and cardiovascular function to better understand how behavioral and contextual factors influence health outcomes, with an emphasis on advancing equitable approaches to health promotion and disease prevention.
His mentor is Dr. Raymond Jones.
