Research

Our faculty have ongoing programs of research that include a focus on areas such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity, health equity and social determinents of health, health services research, learning health systems, medical education research and scholarships, and substance use disorders. 

Education

Education

The GIM Research Fellowship is designed to prepare independent clinician-investigators to pursue careers in clinical and population health sciences. The fellowship is a two-year mentored research training program that provides the opportunity for physicians to gain the experience and expertise necessary to become independent clinician-investigators.
