UAB Diabetes Research Day will take place Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2026, at the Heersink Conference Center. The event will bring together scientists and leaders from across the UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center, UAB community, and state to learn about the latest in cutting-edge diabetes and metabolic disease research.
Faculty, trainees, and students are invited to attend this lively day of learning and networking highlighted by a keynote address and trainee poster session.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Lunch will be provided.

Abstract Submissions
Trainees are invited to submit abstracts to be considered for oral or poster presentations and for the Best Diabetes Research Abstract.
