Biography

Dr. Whitney Turner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and serves as the Medical Director for the Highlands Emergency Department. She completed both medical school and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Turner became a Fellow of the American Collect of Emergency Physicians in 2015. She received the Wilfred F. Holder Memorial Award for excellence in emergency medicine and was awarded the Outstanding Service and Leadership Award from the Department of Emergency Medicine in 2022.
