conference attendees sitting in conference roomThe UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center (UCDC) and Diabetes Research Center (DRC) members and trainees will share their latest scientific findings at the world’s largest diabetes conference, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) 86th Scientific Sessions, June 5-8, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Last year’s meeting in Chicago featured more than 2,000 original research presentations and 11,000 attendees, according to the ADA. This year, UAB faculty, staff, and trainees will showcase their work in a variety of symposiums, oral presentations, and poster presentations throughout the conference. Some will also participate in debates and as symposium and panel chairs.
