Teayoun Kim, Ph.D., a research scientist in the Habegger Lab, presented at Boshell Day on April 17 in Auburn, Alabama.UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center (UCDC) researchers joined experts from around the country to present diabetes-related research at the 17th Annual Boshell Research Day on April 17.
The forum, presented by Auburn University, highlighted outstanding research in the areas of diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, and other metabolic diseases by investigators at institutions throughout the U.S.
This year’s event featured 10 oral presentations, including two from UAB researchers, and 37 poster presentations presented by undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty.
“Boshell Research Day is a wonderful opportunity for our trainees and researchers to present their novel findings and network with colleagues and experts in our field,” said UCDC Director Anath Shalev, M.D. “We thank the event organizers at Auburn for hosting another successful gathering of the diabetes research community and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our UAB Diabetes Research Day on Nov. 17.”
