Following a successful Match Day 2026, four physicians will join the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) as incoming residents into a four-year categorical program.
The UAB Department of PM&R residency program Class of 2030 includes:

Louisiana State University School of Medicine - Jonah Maggard
University of Florida College of Medicine - Emmanuel Ofosu
Meharry Medical College
Their commitment to advancing the field of rehabilitation medicine reflects the values of our department, and we are confident they will make meaningful contributions to our clinical, academic and research missions.
Vice Chair of Education and Residency Program Director Dale Colorado, D.O., shared his enthusiasm for the incoming class: “We are pleased to welcome Ernesto, Jake, Jonah, and Emmanuel to the UAB PM&R family.
