UAB Medicine is pleased to announce the UAB Comprehensive Ovarian Cancer Program. Our mission is to improve the lives of women at risk for, or affected by ovarian cancer through a personalized treatment plan that combines advanced surgical and conventional treatment with therapies that effectively manage side effects, and proactively address many important issues directly related to this cancer and its treatment. This is a navigator-driven, patient-centric program that is the first of its kind in the Southeast region. It is tailored to each unique ovarian cancer patient and her family to address and provide support for physical, lifestyle, nutritional, psychological and spiritual needs to optimize wellness, as well as address challenges throughout her journey from diagnosis to survivorship.

Patients receive their care within the UAB Women & Infants Center, a beautiful state-of-the-art clinical, chemoinfusion and inpatient facility designed and dedicated specifically for women's health. We have dedicated a team of highly trained physician providers, advanced practice clinicians, nurses and support staff to focus on care - one patient at a time. At UAB, we understand the urgency that comes with a potential gynecologic cancer diagnosis and want to be your first thought for your patient's care.
