The primary Data Security service is provided by the Hospital Data Security Team in conjunction with the UAB AskIT Data Security team. The IT group has the role of monitoring Departmental resources to ensure that proper security procedures are implemented, and that the resources are current (and proactive) with security concerns and security tool implementation.
