Administrative Associate

Natalie Rodriguez has worked in the Center for Palliative and Supportive Care since December 2019.  Her background in administrative support at UAB began in the Cardiac Care Unit, followed by the Office of Patient Experience.  She has been at UAB for 10 years. 

Natalie provides direct administrative support to the Center's Director and several additional faculty members. She also acts as liaison with the Center's Community Advisory Board.

Her background in business has primarily been in the banking industry.  Currently, she does part time work for The Caduceus Club, where her duties include bookkeeping, event planning, coordinating medical student interviews for travel fellowships, and various administrative tasks. She has held a variety of leadership roles including PTO President, team mom, Board member for athletic organizations, and fundraising chairman.

Personal: Natalie is a military brat and graduated from the University of Kentucky.  She has 2 children, Roxanne and Alex, both graduates of the University of Alabama.  She lives in Hoover with her husband Ray, and enjoys baking, traveling, reading, and puzzles.
