Dr. Sasser is a graduate of Medical University of South Carolina’s School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency, and pediatric critical care medicine fellowship here at UAB. Dr. Sasser has also received training and completed a fellowship in cardiac critical care medicine at UAB. He has a particular interest in medical education. He is an Assistant Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program and Director of the Pediatric Acting Internship and Elective Program.
