Dr. Hughes lectures at the "2016 Update in Rheumatology" event

Laura Hughes, MD, MSPH, directed a highly successful CME course for Primary Care Physicians entitled "2016 Update in Rheumatology". The course was held on May 20-21, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-The Wynfrey Hotel. Approximately 65 registrants received didactic lectures, as well as hands-on instruction on joint injections from the following faculty and fellows: Martin Trojanowski, MD, Matthew Mullen, MD, Kenneth G. Saag, MD, MSc, Iris Navarro, MD, MSPH, Maria I. Danila, MD, MSc, MSPH, Jeffrey R. Curtis, MD, MS, MPH, W. Winn Chatham, MD, Randall Beyl, MD, Niharika Sharma, MD, Angelo Gaffo, MD, MSPH, and Sarah L. Morgan, MD, RD, CCD. Registrants earned up to 10 CME’s and had a great time meeting other medical professionals and networking during this two-day event.
