Our faculty, staff, and trainees presented nearly 100 abstracts at the ACR annual meeting. Laura B. Hughes MD, MSPH was appointed as a member of the Oversight Committee of the ACR’s Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification in Rheumatology (RhMSUS) program. S. Louis Bridges, Jr, MD, PhD and Kenneth Saag, MD, MSc serve as members of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Board of Directors. Dr. Bridges also serves as Chair of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Committee on Research.
A reception was held in Washington DC at the ACR Annual meeting to honor John D. Mountz, M.D., Ph.D., and Jasvinder A. Singh, M.D., M.P.H., who were both awarded prestigious rheumatology awards for advances in basic and clinical research. These honors were recently highlighted in a UAB story: READ MORE
