Dr. KaleUAB Department of Surgery General Surgery Resident Cozette Kale, M.D., MPH, was awarded the American Society of Transplantation’s (AST) Live Donor Community of Practice (LDCOP) Travel Reimbursement Grant for the 2020 American Transplant Congress (ATC).

The LDCOP Executive Committee plans to recognize Kale at the LDCOP Virtual Annual Meeting on June 11, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 ATC was hosted in a completely virtual setting and the reimbursement funding will be held for the 2021 ATC in Seattle, Washington, as long as Kale is presenting work.
