From her role in the Oscar-winning documentary “Twenty Feet from Stardom” to unforgettable collaborations, she remains one of the greatest voices in music history.

Love continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her warm, gracious stage presence and superb performances with warmth, soul and undeniable charm. This year, Love was a featured performer in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, making her third appearance in the official start of the holiday season.

Paul Shaffer proclaimed, “Darlene Love is rock ’n’ roll!” That was made official in 2011 when Love was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Bette Midler. During the celebration, they performed “He’s A Rebel” together and Love sang “He’s A Fine, Fine Boy” backed by another distinguished fan, Bruce Springsteen, and The E Street Band.

At the Academy Awards, Love sang her powerful acceptance speech on behalf of all the performers in the winning film “Twenty Feet from Stardom.” As she raised the Oscar, the entire house stood with a cheering ovation. A Grammy Award for the soundtrack soon followed.

Love performed the beloved holiday classic “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” at least 21 times annually with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Symphony Orchestra on “Late Night with David Letterman” and “Late Show with David Letterman.” To continue this long-standing tradition, Love performs special Christmas shows every year and continues to enchant her fans with the Christmas spirit.

On screen and stage, Love starred in the “Lethal Weapon” movies as Trish Murtaugh and as Motormouth Maybelle in “Hairspray” on Broadway. She played Miss Gardner in the television movie “Carrie” and Auntie Jo Robinson in the film “Holiday Rush.” Love appeared in the musical “Grease,” with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn in the “The Christmas Chronicles 2,” and has been a frequent guest on “Saturday Night Live” and “New Girl.”
