UAB Montgomery Regional Medical Campus to host 2026 Montgomery Health Policy Meeting

This event brings together health care leaders, policymakers and community advocates to explore innovative health outcomes across Alabama.The University of Alabama at Birmingham Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine’s Montgomery Regional Medical Campus is hosting the 2026 Montgomery Health Policy Meeting on Thursday, April 16, at the RSA Activity Center located at 201 Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104. This annual event brings together health care leaders, policymakers and community advocates to explore innovative health outcomes across Alabama. This year’s theme will inspire conversations on how policy, practice and community partnerships can shape a healthier future. Opening remarks begin at 8:30 a.m., and the event will conclude with the S. Rexford Kennamer Distinguished Lecture beginning at 12 p.m. The keynote speaker is Scott Harris, M.D., the Alabama state health officer. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided during the event. Registration is free.
