Inside LPJoin the University of Alabama at Birmingham National Alumni Society for the 2022 legacy pinning ceremony Friday, Oct. 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the NAS House.

The ceremony will connect UAB’s past to its present when UAB alumni parents and grandparents present their child with a pin to commemorate a lifelong UAB connection. This tradition recognizes the bridge forged between parents who graduated from UAB and their currently enrolled students.

This special, and sometimes emotional, ceremony provides families the opportunity to connect generations and make UAB a family tradition. The ceremony is free, and registration is required. Alumni can register here.

Learn more about passing on UAB traditions to young Blazers through the UAB NAS Growing up Green and Gold program.

The pinning ceremony is part of the UAB Family Weekend, Oct. 14-15, which also includes a mixer and fun activities on campus. Register online.
