On Thursday, Sept. 7, the largest water balloon fight in Birmingham returns. Join University of Alabama at Birmingham students on the campus green for the eighth annual Blazer Splash.
Sponsored by the UAB Student Alumni Society and First Year Experience, this Blazer tradition features water balloons, water slides and water shooters. The first 300 students will receive free food and a 2023 Blazer Splash T-shirt.
The event will begin at 5 p.m., with the coordinated water balloon fight taking place from 5:30-5:45 p.m.
With more than 300 students participating last year, this year is expected to be an even bigger event complete with fun and entertainment.
