Get little Blazers active this winter break at UAB University Recreation’s day camps

URec winter break day camps offer an all-in-one solution for keeping kids active through adventure sports, crafts and aquatic activities.

IGStory1 100Beat the winter break blues and help children stay active with the University of Alabama at Birmingham URec day camps. This year’s camps will be offered over four days and will provide a fun and educational experience for little Blazers.

Children will delve into adventure sports, engaging crafts, aquatic activities and everything else the UAB Campus Recreation Center has to offer — all under one roof. The day camp schedule is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., catering to children ages 5-12. Campers will need to bring their own lunch.

Upcoming options are Session 1 from Dec. 18-22 and Session 2 from Jan. 2-5, 2024.

Participants can choose from one or both full sessions, individual days, or a customized combination. A $50 deposit is required to secure a spot. For more information, click here.

Registration for all camps closes one week prior to the camp date, or once camper capacity is reached. Campers will need to have a registration form completed and signed to be registered and to make a deposit. Only one form per family is required. To download a camper form, click here.
