Future Blazers — both in-state and out-of-state — can apply this week without paying any application fees.The University of Alabama at Birmingham will waive application fees from Feb. 21-27 for all first‑time freshmen and transfer students, giving prospective Blazers a full week to apply at no cost.
“UAB is proud to participate in Free Application Week again this year because access to higher education should never be limited by financial barriers,” said Kathleen Stallings, executive director of Undergraduate Admissions and Scholarships at UAB. “By removing the cost of applying, we open the door wider for talented, motivated students to see themselves at UAB.”
Future Blazers can apply online at uab.edu/apply during the fee waiver period. Applications must be started and submitted between Feb. 21 and 27 to qualify for the waiver — no code or additional step is necessary.
