InnovationJoomlaJoin the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Collat School of Business along with the Bill L. Harbert Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Center for Clinical and Translational Science for a Small Business Innovation workshop on Monday, June 24.

Guests will learn how their businesses can benefit from Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer funding and how to collaborate with UAB’s programs and partners.

This workshop will feature Lili M. Portilla, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences SBIR/STTR Program Director, and a SBIR/STTR Partner Panel.  

SBIR/STTR programs enable small businesses to partake in research and development that has the potential for commercialization and public benefit. 

The schedule of events include:

9 a.m. -11 a.m.: Workshop with Lili M. Portilla
11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: SBIR/ STTR Partner Panel
1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Office Hours
