Give on March 4 and help UAB care for our community

Donations for Giving Day will make an impact on UAB’s efforts to fight COVID-19, care for pediatric trafficking survivors, support students, provide dental, medical and eye care to those in need, and more.

1Day.2With one day of giving, what could we accomplish in our community?

On Thursday, March 4, the University of Alabama at Birmingham will host Giving Day, a universitywide celebration of philanthropy. It is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the lives of many people in the greater community, which could transform the UAB campus, the Birmingham community and even the world.

There is no limit to what we can accomplish when we all come together, says Angel Lancaster, UAB’s director of Annual Giving. Any amount is welcomed.

“Small gifts can make a really big difference on Giving Day, and most of the gifts we receive are less than $50,” Lancaster said. “This year’s projects support a wide range of causes so you can support the area that best aligns with your interests.”
