UAB alumni and students to serve Birmingham community on April 9 for Unite Day

UAB’s Unite Day will bring together alumni and students to volunteer together at an area elementary school.

University of Alabama at Birmingham Unite Day Stream alumni and students will serve the Birmingham community on Saturday, April 9 for UAB Unite Day, an annual service tradition sponsored by UAB’s National Alumni Society.

Unite Day will begin at 8 a.m. at the Glen Iris Elementary School, located at 1115 11th Street South. Volunteers will work on various indoor and outdoor projects including painting, yard work, and more. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Each volunteer must register to participate by Friday, April 8, with pre-registration available on the National Alumni Society’s website.
