Haddin Arts and Sciences Forums set for fall 2023

The University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Arts and Sciences is set to host its fall 2023 Haddin Forums.

Stream HFThe University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Arts and Sciences is set to host its fall 2023 Haddin Forums for UAB faculty and staff.

Located in Sterne Library, the Haddin Arts and Sciences Forums features faculty from the UAB College of Arts and Sciences presenting on interdisciplinary topics ranging from their research to scholastic acumen. The forums seek to promote the academic development of a shared and diverse intellectual community.

On Friday, Oct. 20, Samiksha Raut, Ph.D., associate professor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Biology, will present “From Acknowledgment to Action: A Story of a Professional Society’s Organization Change."

On Friday, Nov. 10, Joseph Wood, assistant professor in the UAB Department of English, will present “Uncommon Condition: The English Philology Classroom in Georgia during the Age of COVID and Russian Aggression."
