UAB among the best in Southeast, says The Princeton Review

Princeton_ReviewUAB is one of the best universities in the Southeast, according to The Princeton Review’s "2012 Best Colleges: Region by Region."

The colleges selected as the “Best in the Southeast” span 12 states. The Princeton Review also designated 220 colleges in the Northeast, 153 in the Midwest and 121 in the West as best in their locales. Collectively, the 629 colleges named “regional best” constitute about 25 percent of the nation's 2,500 four-year colleges.

In addition to being named one of the best in the Southeast, UAB ranked No. 5 in the “lots of race/class interaction” category and No. 7 for “town-gown relations are great.”
