Three UAB spirit teams competed in the 2011 UCA/UDA College Cheer and Dance National Championship in Orlando Jan. 14-16, 2011, and were all ranked among the top 10 in their divisions.
The Golden Girls ranked 10th place in Division IA Pom. The all-girl stunt group placed No.7 in the partner stunt division, and the cheerleaders placed No. 6 in Division I Small Coed.
