Julian named professor emeritus in surgery and medicine

His work in IgA nephropathy and kidney transplantation has resulted in more than 200 publications.

The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Bruce A. Julian, M.D., professor emeritus in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) departments of Medicine and Surgery during its meeting June 14, 2013. Julian joined the UAB faculty in 1984. His work in IgA nephropathy and kidney transplantation has resulted in more than 200 publications.
