Tune in for inspiration, truth and shared experiences as storytellers and poets from the UAB Medicine community share their wishes and dreams during Story Power 2021 presented by UAB Institute for Arts in Medicine noon-1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, on Zoom.

The event will feature real-life tales of UAB Medicine staff and the community that has supported them during this unprecedent time of the pandemic that continues to unfold. They will share stories of strength, adversity, growth and courage.

AIM encourages healing through the arts. The first program of its kind in Alabama, AIM provides engaging arts opportunities to patients, caregivers and even clinical staff to enhance their physical environment through creative bedside interaction, art exhibits and performances in common spaces.
