The NAS will host the 2016-2017 UAB Tip-Off Party from 5:30-7 p.m. at Cahaba Brewing Co. The party is free for current NAS members and $5 for nonmembers.
From a comedy show with Quincy Jones to a Green and Gold Game and Blazer Fan Fest and Walk with a full halftime show from the Marching Blazers, Homecoming 2016 at UAB is happening.

The 200-member-strong band is rehearsing its show of hit soundtrack tunes, “Hollywood,” for performances at UAB football games, exhibitions and parades. 

In an agreement that makes Legacy Community Federal Credit Union the official credit union of UAB, IMG and Legacy have entered into a $4.2 million, 20-year naming rights sponsorship that will bring Legacy Pavilion to the new Board-approved UAB Football Operations Center.

More than $5.2 million has been paid in UAB’s Finish the Drive campaign to secure $17.2 million pledged to UAB Athletics, exceeding the $4.5 million Jan. 15 goal.
Officials from BBVA Compass and the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Wednesday officially debuted the city’s newest sports venue, BBVA Compass Field, and marked the start of its final phase of construction by having an MLS midfielder lead students from Glen Iris Elementary through drills on the Blazers’ pristine soccer pitch.
