Moneyham named senior associate dean in School of Nursing

linda_moneyham_2012_1Linda Moneyham, Ph.D., R.N., has been named senior associate dean for academic affairs at the UAB School of Nursing. She is its chief academic officer, with primary responsibility for all operations relative to instruction and student-affairs programs.

Moneyham earned a bachelor’s degree from Berea College, master’s from University of Kentucky and doctorate from University of Indiana. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and served on the nursing faculties of several universities, including Medical College of Georgia, Emory University and University of South Carolina prior to joining UAB as the first Rachel Z. Booth Endowed Chair in Nursing in 2007. Moneyham is a senior scientist in the UAB Minority Health Research Center and UAB Center for AIDS Research and has served as an associate director for the Center for Nursing Research.
