Tehreem Khan achieves success through mentorship, personal drive and family support.


Tehreem Khan, a Hoover, Alabama, resident, has achieved several milestones over the past few years. Graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham is one of those, alongside becoming a citizen of the United States. Khan’s journey as a Blazer is filled with institutional, statewide and national recognition, helping her live her dream of a career in communications and public relations. Her many awards include Student of the Year Award, Medallion, Excellence and Merit Awards, Wordsmith Award of Excellence, 2021 Best Campaign, and the highly competitive Diversity and Multicultural Scholarship from the Public Relations Society of America Foundation.

“It is a joy to end this journey with honors and awards; but to have made friends who care about the world, to have earned the respect of people I may disagree with and to have built a values-oriented reputation are what will stay with me forever,” Khan said. “I am leaving with a heart full of gratitude toward everyone I have met at UAB.” 

Khan minored in marketing within the Collat School of Business complimenting her public relations degree and strengthening her knowledge to form an integrated approach in communications.
