The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Kathleen A. Martin, Ph.D., associate professor emerita in School of Education in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences during its meeting Nov. 3, 2011. Martin was the primary investigator and director of one of the largest Early Reading First grants in the United States.
