Christos C. Vlachos, D.M.D., was named the first holder of the UAB Orthodontic Alumni Endowed Professorship in the Department of Orthodontics
The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Christos C. Vlachos, D.M.D., the first holder of the UAB Orthodontic Alumni Endowed Professorship in the Department of Orthodontics in the School of Dentistry during its meeting Sept. 13, 2012. Vlachos is the residency program director and associate professor in the Department of Orthodontics. He completed a residency in orthodontics at UAB and joined the faculty in 1990.
