The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees named Kent T. Keyser, Ph.D., University Professor in Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) during its meeting Feb. 8, 2013. Keyser joined the UAB faculty in 1996 as associate professor in the Department of Physiological Optics and has served as interim chair of the department and held several administrative appointments, including director of the Vision Science Research Center.
