The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing has been ranked number five in the nation in the Top 50 Most Social Media Friendly Nursing Schools of 2012 by Nursing-School.com.
The website’s evaluators take into account both the number of followers and the amount of activity on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, as well as the number of followers on LinkedIn. Activity on Google Plus, Pinterest and Flickr also was taken into account. The ranking means that UAB’s School of Nursing has one of the strongest social media presences in the nation.
