Endowed scholarship in medicine established

The Jefferson County Medical Society has endowed a School of Medicine scholarship.

The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved the creation of the Jefferson County Medical Society Endowed Scholarship in Medicine in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine during its meeting April 12, 2013.
