Awards and honors

Five undergraduate students and two graduate students from UAB have been recognized by the Alabama Space Grant Consortium. 

Part of the mission of the Civitan International Research Center is to foster the next generation of scientists studying brain development.

Kay has held several administrative positions at UAB, including director of the Clinical Electrophysiology Section within the Division of Cardiovascular Disease.

NIH grant for brain cancer also makes UAB one of few centers with four Specialized Program of Research Excellence awards.
