UA System Board approves new IT building, Honors College

UAB students led their team to victory, bringing home the National Championship title for the third time in eight years.

More than 103,000 donors have contributed to the university’s largest-ever fundraising initiative to bolster the campaign’s priorities — programmatic support, facilities, faculty, research and innovation, athletics, and student support.

All academic areas saw increases in grant award monies from November 2017 through October 2018 as the university continues to grow its mission.

The partnership will provide scholarships and a reverse transfer agreement with Jefferson State to help deserving Alabama students realize their fullest potential.

With more than 162,000 square feet, the new UAB Hill Student Center is the living room of the university and provides places for students to congregate, eat and study, making it their home away from home.
