Lace up your running shoes for a good cause: The UAB National Alumni Society’s 19th annual Scholarship Run, presented by VIVA Health, provides financial support to students.

The 16th annual Uncork Education, with live and silent auctions, tastings, Blazer Plinko, and heavy hors d’oeuvres, will for the first time be at the historic Florentine Ballroom.

This semester, at least 1,621 students are eligible to graduate, and 892 students are expected to walk in two ceremonies.

Summer doesn’t have to end yet: At Legacy Family Day, play games on the Campus Green, race rubber ducks in the Rec Center pool, dunk a UAB celebrity and more.

The UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 program, presented by the UAB National Alumni Society, each year recognizes the fastest-growing and most successful businesses owned or managed by UAB graduates.

Come together with members of the UAB community to raise money for student scholarships. This year’s race will be at Crestline Village in Mountain Brook.

Hosted by the UAB Department of Biology, Darwin Day 2024 will be an opportunity to learn about current UAB research and listen to keynote speaker Athena Aktipis, Ph.D., host of the podcast “Zombified.”
